New school for Golborne

Current pupils and new starters at Middle Row Primary School are in for a treat when they start after the summer holidays – a brand new £12m school. On the same site as the old Middle Row, the newly built school is called Ark Brunel Primary.

The school has 420 places, larger than the old Middle Row. It has a 30-place nursery, a 16-place specialist speech and language centre, and full disabled access.

The new three-storey building is arranged in two zones. One houses the school reception and the other has classrooms clustered around shared learning areas. The building also has two roof terraces for outdoor learning and dedicated art and design and technology rooms.
