Some people without symptoms can get tests at Kensington Leisure Centre on Silchester Road

Covid-19 tests for those with no symptoms

Covid-19 testing for people with no symptoms is now available if you fall into one of these categories:

1) You cannot work from home

2) You are a parent or guardian with children at school or college

3) You are in a childcare or support bubble with a family which has children at school or college

This testing is intended to stop asymptomatic people from unknowingly spreading the virus. If you are in one of the three groups described above, the NHS is encouraging you to get a test twice each week.

There are two test sites near Golborne Ward. To get a test, simply attend at any time during the opening hours detailed below.

Kensington Leisure Centre, Silchester Road, W10 6EX
8am to 4.30pm, Monday and Wednesday
10am to 4pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, W8 7NX
8am to 5.30pm Monday and Wednesday
8.30am to 5.30pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 10am to 4pm at weekends.

Please note that opening hours are different over Easter:
Kensington Town Hall will be open Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday from 10am to 4pm. It will be closed on Easter Sunday

Kensington Leisure Centre will be closed Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday

You must not attend either of these testing sites if you have Coivid-19 symptoms. Instead you can book a test via NHS online or by calling 119. Golborne's nearest testing site is at 2-4 Malton Road, W10 5UP, behind the Sainsbury's next to Ladbroke Grove tube.
To book a test call 119 or log on to NHS online

You can also collect home testing kits from Kensington Town Hall and from Malton Road between 1pm and 8pm seven days a week. You can collect two test boxes in one visit, which will be enough for one week's worth of tests.
