Walk 17,000

Fancy walking 17,000 steps for a good cause? Kensington and Chelsea Foundation is running a 17,000-step-long sponsored walk from Al-Manaar Mosque on Acklam Road W10 to Chelsea Theatre in World’s End SW10. All proceeds to local charities.

Sign up today to Walk 17,000 for just £5 and aim to raise £150 in sponsorship to support local projects helping residents in need. The event is supported by estate agents Savills.

The walk is on Saturday 10 September starting at 10.30 am. There will be refreshment stops, moral support and a map of the route. You can walk with your family, friends and neighbours - and four-legged friends are welcome.

£150 could provide one month of early intervention and preventative support for young children struggling within mainstream education and at risk of exclusion, enabling them to thrive socially, emotionally and academically.
