New Curtis rom-com filming on Golborne
Whether you'll see Rachel McAdams (pictured) down Golborne Road on July 4th or not, we don't know. But you'll definitely see a film crew working on Richard Curtis' new romantic comedy, About Time, starring Ms McAdams, Domnhall Gleeson and Bill Nighy.
The crew will be filming scenes on Golborne Road on Wednesday 4th from 3pm to 1am on Thursday 5th. All filming is exterior and set around the entrance of number 102 or on the railway bridge.
The film company will be brining some technical vehicles which will be parked on Portobello Road and there will be a small crane with a light attached on Swinbrook Road. The light will be powered by a small silent generator next to the crane, which will need to remain on for the duration of our filming. The filmmakers will black out any residents windows affected by the light.
Assistant location manager Lucy Williams said, "We acknowledge that this is a residential area and will endeavour to keep any disturbance down to an absolute minimum. Furthermore we are working closely with Jessica Woodland at Kensington & Chelsea Filming & Special Events and Susie Parsons at the Golborne Forum, to ensure that everyone is fully aware of our planned activities and any concerns will be fully dealt with beforehand".
