Age UK Health Fair 2011

Age UK (formerly Age Concern) Kensington and Chelsea’s 2011 Well Being for Life Health Fair is coming up on Friday October 7th, 12 noon to 4 pm at Kensington Town Hall. The Health Fair covers all aspects of healthy ageing and attractions include a free raffle, free goody bags, giveaways and a free café.

Topics at the Health Fair, attended by over 600 last year, include keeping active, staying independent and mobile, and eating well. The Fair will also offer information on emotional well being, managing health, housing, safety, and finances.

More than 130 professionals from local and national organisations will be on hand to offer advice. Visitors can also try complementary therapy taster sessions, dancing, exercise classes, mobile phone workshops and health checks.
