Volunteer as a Portobello Road Market Ambassador

Here's your chance to get right to the heart of our community by becoming a volunteer Markets Ambassador at Portobello and Golborne Markets. Your task will be to help visitors get the most out of our world-famous markets with advice, insider tips and a friendly face.

Anyone over the age of 16 can volunteer via the Volunteer Centre Kensington & Chelsea. The Volunteer Centre says, "Your passion is what we seek, and experience or qualifications are not required – all we ask for is your infectious positivity!"

Volunteer Market Ambassadors work on the markets' busiest days which are of course Saturdays. Morning sessions, 10 am to 1 pm, and afternoon session, 1 to 4pm are available. The Volunteer Centre offers training which covers up-to-date market information and local history, and continuing support is available.
