Phoenix on Golborne
Phoenix on Golborne, run by Jess Gildersleve, opened in October 2010, and is the newest addition to the Golborne interiors and furnishings scene. As their website says, ‘We carefully source a wide range of antiques as well as vintage, painted and shabby-chic furniture and accessories’. Current stock includes a life-size stone dog, a selection of mirrors and a rocking horse, as well as some beautiful furniture.

Bazar
As well as a selection of antique French furniture, birdcages, glassware and watering cans are all available in Bazar. Nils, who staffs the shop most days, says that their mainly French furniture collection spans the century from 1850 to 1950. Prices start low for charming bric-a-brac and climb higher for the choice pieces of furniture.
