K&C College students come out top
Gunilla Karlson (pictured), studying jewellery and Claire Partington, a ceramics student, both at Kensington &
Chelsea College on Wornington Road, recently won first prizes in the Victoria and Albert Museum’s annual
competition, ‘Inspired by the V&A’.
The competition invites students to design and make an artwork using any piece of work from the V&A’s
permanent collection as inspiration. Gunilla and Claire both won £50 vouchers to be spent in the V&A shop
and their work is on display in the museum’s Exhibition Road entrance foyer until Sunday 22nd July.
