Ladbroke Grove Railway Bridge consultation
A new project aims to enhance the appearance of the neglected, 100-year-old bridge which crosses the mainline railway on Ladbroke Grove, on the edge of the Golborne Ward boundary. There's a consultation on possible improvements on Friday 22nd November and Saturday 23rd November.
Built in 1913, the bridge currently suffers from flaking and faded paint, rust and poor lighting. This important local landmark has also been prone to fly posting and graffiti. The project will involve cleaning, repainting, and repairing the bridge, and installing new lighting.
Consultation - Have your say
Kensington and Chelsea Council, along with Network Rail (the bridge owners), the local Councillors and community are looking at options for the improvements. Three colour scheme design options have been developed.
A street stall on Ladbroke Grove Bridge (by Kensal House) on Friday 22nd November, 12 noon to 4pm, and Saturday 23rd November, 12 noon to 3pm, will display the three designs and the local community can vote for their preferred one. The design with the most votes will be the selected design.

The project team will also be visiting local community groups to discuss the designs. If you have comments on the project, the different designs, or have a preferred design, please email
