The People's Kitchen at Panella

is a business that likes to give back to the community it's based in. That's why, in partnership with sustainable furniture business Goldfinger, the restaurant runs the monthly People's Kitchen. It's an event that offers people a chance to meet up with friends old and new while enjoying a delicious free meal.

The People's Kitchen runs on the third Sunday of each month from 4:30 to 6:30 pm and is open to everyone who lives in North Kensington. There's no need to book - just get yourself along to Panella at 15 Golborne Road, at the base of Trellick Tower. Everyone is welcome and you can be sure of a delicious and nutritionally-balanced meal with distinctive Sicilian flair.

Giuseppe and Caterina Di Matteo are the people behind Panella and their mission is to bring you the finest of Sicilian cuisine and hospitality to North Kensington. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and coffees from Monday to Saturday. Panella's seasonal menu changes daily and features the very best of Sicilian and local British produce. The restaurant is also available to hire for parties and events.

Panella is part of the Goldfinger family. Goldfinger is the sustainable bespoke furniture business and community organisation whose shop and workshop is next door to Panella. The Goldfinger Academy offers in-school woodworking courses, free career guidance and traineeship programmes, and craft classes for the North Kensington community.

For each £5 donated, you will fund a delicious restaurant-quality meal for a local resident in need; plus additional activities to lift the spirits such as live music and cooking demonstrations. For £25, you can feed a family of five.
