Gerard Williams is Kensington's Running Mayor and his job is to promote exercise and wellbeing in our borough. He's part of a national network of running mayors called Run Some, an organisation created to make running more accessible within communities.
Gerard, a North Kensington resident who works as a bus driver, is just the man to inject some enthusiasm into the fun and healthy pursuit of running. He organises regular runs in the borough, including one in Little Wormwood Scrubs every Sunday. If you'd like to join Gerard on one of his runs, give him a call on 07889 343599.
Gerard says, "It's an honour to be given the opportunity to pass on my enthusiasm of running to my community. I hope to inspire and help change people's mindsets when it comes to running and wellbeing."
