Ruth-Ann St Luce

Local student on top TV show

Kensington & Chelsea College student Ruth-Ann St Luce has made it through to the next stage of BBC One’s hit talent show ‘The Voice’, and you can see her perform live on Saturday 5th May at 7.10pm – and vote for her.

Ruth-Ann, who is 18, is studying at the college on a Level 2 Diploma in Music course, and it was her tutor, Paul Hall, who encouraged her to audition for the show. Paul, who is head of music at Kensington & Chelsea, said, “Ruth-Ann is the one to watch. Not only does she possess incredible talent at such a young age, she is also one of the nicest girls you’ll ever meet.”

Speaking about the college, Ruth-Ann said, The ambitious teen also praised the college and her course, adding: “I like the fact that the teachers are well connected with people in the music industry. I find it a great place to study in. It is very multicultural, and the students are friendly and very sociable. I also like the staff because they actually care about the students and go out of their way to help us.”
