Tribute to Susie Parsons

The Golborne Forum is deeply saddened to hear of the death of Susie Parsons who died suddenly from a massive stroke on the 6th June 2015. Susie has been an active and influential part of North Kensington for many years. She and her partner Dave Perry had lived in the area for over 40 years, their son Ben attending Bevington Primary School.

Susie was involved in many initiatives in the ward and had many friends and admirers. She chaired the Golborne United SRB Regeneration Programme and then led on the development of The Golborne Forum which she chaired for eight years up until 2014. She was the driving force behind the Golborne Life web site and newsletter. She continued to be a cornerstone of The Forum. Most recently, she had been leading the coordination of plans for the Golborne Festival this July.

All of us who have worked with her admired her energy, drive and commitment. All members of The Forum extend our deepest sympathies to Dave and her family. She will be greatly missed.
