IT help sessions at North Kensington Library

If you're struggling with digital help is available at North Kensington Library. The library hosts free weekly drop-in sessions to improve your digital skills and to answer your digital queries and questions. There's no need to book, just turn up at between 10 AM and 12 PM on Tuesdays.

The sessions are run by trained volunteers and library staff in a group setting. The sessions can help with help with using the internet, apps, emails, video calls, printing, online shopping, social media, and much more.

Volunteers and staff can help with most things. However if you have a request related to something that requires in-depth knowledge such as coding, you may be signposted to other courses or resources. The sessions cannot offer repairs for technical faults with electronic devices that need expert input.

Volunteering as a digital helper Kensington and Chelsea Libraries are always looking for volunteers to help people get online. You would be offering advice, information and support to a resident, including things like helping them set up an email or WhatsApp account.

You don't need to be an IT expert, you just need to feel comfortable with everyday digital technology You will need enthusiasm and patience!

If you would like to get involved as a volunteer, email digitalinclusion@rbkc.gov.uk
